Our Biona Demeter Brown Lentils are pre-cooked and provide a good source of plant-based protein. These lentils are ideal for warm salads, casseroles and stuffing as they retain their shape after cooking.

Ingredients

Water, Brown Lentils* (61%), Tomatoes (from concentrate)*, Sea Salt. *= Demeter / Certified Organic Ingredients

Directions

Rinse before use. Use 3 cups of liquid (water, stock, etc) to 1 cup of dry lentils. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, reduce heat and simmer until tender. For brown lentils, cooking time is typically 20-30 minutes.
