Brindisa's Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil is selected and blended for us by Aceites La Maja in Navarra, Northern Spain. Historical Note: The name Arbequina from the village of Arbeca in the Catalan comarca of the Les Garrigues, where it was first introduced to Europe from Palestine in the seventeenth century by the Duke of Medinaceli. The estate grown Arbequina olives produce a buttery and fruity oil. The rich, mellow olive taste is easily in harmony with other ingredients. Serving suggestion: use to make an elegant version of an olive oil mayonnaise.
