Description

Only high oleic sunflower seeds are used for the Byodo classic frying oil. This is a special sunflower variety with a particularly high content of oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid. This proportion can be up to 70% in high oleic seeds and is responsible for the good heatability of the oil. Like all organic oils from Byodo, this organic roasting oil is first obtained by a nutrient-preserving cold pressing process - of course from the first pressing. By subsequent water vapour washing (= gentle deodorization) at low temperatures, intensive colours and flavours are extracted from the oil. This makes the oil even more heat-resistant and particularly mild in taste.
