Dissolve 1 tablespoon of powdered gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water. Let it bloom for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until completely dissolved. Add the mixture to your recipe and cook as directed. For a firmer set, use more gelatin, and for a softer set, use less.
