Product description

Agar agar is a natural vegetable gelatin used to make jellies, puddings, custards & sauces. Agar is boiled in water until it dissolves then the solution added to moulds to make jelly; and is added to puddings, custards & sauces as a thickening agent. If you are vegetarian or vegan, Agar is an ideal substitute for using gelatine; it is not made from animal products, just naturally growing sea plants. Directions

Boil 1 tablespoon of Agar Agar in 1 cup of water until dissolved. Add to puddings, custards, or sauces to thicken. For jelly, add dissolved Agar to moulds and let set in the refrigerator.
