Zaatar Spice is a blend of savory dried herbs like oregano, thyme, and earthy spices like cumin, coriander, with sesame seeds and the most important ingredient of all sumac! Sumac gives it the delicious unexpected tanginess that, is the key to the best Zaatar. Indicatively, in 100 grams of our zaatar mix, 20-30 grams of kosher salt can be added. Our zaatar Blend can be sprinkle it over hummus, labneh, roasted vegetables, eggs, salads, meats, fish or over fresh pita bread drizzled with Extra Virgin Olive oil (preferably Greek) before going in the oven to toast. Instructions: Add it to your dishses as it is or put the Za'atar mix in a blender or a grater until it becomes powder. Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.
